SCADpad Evolution

evolution

A 20' cypress table made from a single plank of reclaimed wood adorns the center of the SCADpad community. Unique chairs are scattered around the table. A white thought bubble hangs over the table to encourage congenial interaction and to further signify the glow of gathering. It's marking off an idea space. This element was inspired by the word clouds used by sequential art students to move characters and plots through a story, symbolizing a visual manifestation of a storyboard.

Inside SCADpad Asia, a geometic wallpaper adorns the walls, which was painted by BFA and MFA painting graduate Liz Winnel. The wallpaper overlays a soundboard designed by SCAD student Ross Fish. When you touch the wall, an algorithm is triggered to produce randomized audio file sounds.
